What have I been doing for the past 2 weeks or so???
Sewing my fingers to the bones! I’ve had 3 markets in a row to prepare for, I’ve been locked in my dungeon working up a storm! I have one more next weekend and then I will be listing the leftovers on Etsy. In the mean time I have mailed off my Sept ATC for the Blissful ATC swap. My partner doesn’t have a blog, so I will be sharing both the one I sent and the one I received. Today I have the one I sent, the theme was leaves, I took it litterally LOL!
The leaves are from a “burning bush” in my neighbor’s yard. I will post the one I receive as soon as it gets here :)
The Blissful ATC swap coordinators are hosting a contest for us. We were challenged to make an ATC holder of sorts. I wasn’t very original and used a mint tin that is altered. I wanted the holder to be specifically for the cards I receive in this swap. I think it’s a neat idea to keep them altogether in one collection. So this is my rendition…
The top is vintage wallpaper, chipboard letters with glimmer mist, and paper flowers. The sides I printed on twill tape to label the box. Now for the contest… in order for me to get votes I need you (my faithful readers) to go visit the Blissful ATC swap site check out all the entries, and vote for ME :) There are some great ideas shown there! The competition is fierce! And a generous prize package is at stake here, thank you ladies and good luck to all!
Happy Thursday everyone! I just wanted to stop in here today and let you know about a great class opportunity. My good friend Bonnie van Esch is hosting an online journaling class called Discovering Myself. Bonnie is a very talented artist and digital scrapbook designer. I’ve been on her creative team since she began designing. She’s also makes the most amazing handmade embellishments that she sells in her Etsy shop. The class she’s hosting is to create a handmade art journal and self discovery. She’s even put together some supply kits to compliment the class! I urge you to take a look at her blog and sign up for her class! It looks like a great time!
